How to Apply for Admission Scholarships at University of Toronto
Applicants must be needed to take admission to this university before the deadline. After securing admission, students are automatically given consideration for a variety of admission scholarship awards.
The University of Toronto provides admission scholarships on the basis of merit and/ or financial hardship. Our main scholarship awards are the National Scholarship Program, President’s Scholars of Excellence Program (PSEP), and University of Toronto Scholars Program.
Most of our on-admission scholarship award funding is granted automatically. A separate application is not needed for these merit-based admission scholarship awards. Secondary school scholars are automatically given consideration for the merit-based scholarship awards as part of the U of T admission procedure.
U of T also provides scholarship awards on the basis of conditions like financial hardship, academic merit, first-generation students, Indigenous background, proven leadership, etc. A separate supplementary application must be submitted for these awards.
